WhatsApp restrictions

My autistic daughter gets into mischief using her Iphone. Without going into details she gets compulsive and obsessive and can send 100s of messages when the mood takes her. Many of them inappropriate. Nearly all of these using WhatsApp.

I've discovered a product called Parentshield which requires a sim and provides the restrictions we need to put in place over phone line texts and calls but it has no control over whatsApp.

I think WhatsApp is fantastic and will surely replace the old phone and text technology. Trouble is I can't see how to apply restrictions on WhatsApp to the level we need. We need to her to access a few numbers only and nothing else. AFAICS blocking numbers is the only restriction available.

I'm hoping someone has had and resolved a similar problem. Thanks Leo
