Interesting video on the testing of Smart phones, in this case iPhone. Apparently before they ship an iPhone they break 10,000. Nevertheless it is interesting to see the sorts of tests they do & then towards the end there is a discussion of reliability v repair ability. Apple are often regarded as making products that are hard to repair, but they are making very reliable phones & that durability makes repair more difficult, leading to interesting trade offs (10 mins 51):
