Hi aylhn6389, and welcome to the forum. You seem to have asked the exact same question at Fodors Travel Guide, and at Expat.com and Hauseit.com, except that your question there specified pay stubs instead of social security benefits.
And at Propertyinvesting.com and TaxationWeb.
And Club Lexus, and Powerchurch.
I hope you don't mind if I ask what brought you to this forum?
BJ

Wot, you mean as sylas951624 did in another only-one-ever-post at viewtopic.php?p=649614#p649614 ?
Possibly related to carter535 and david634 at viewtopic.php?p=642501#p642501, the latter of which advertised a site that offers "fake or novelty documents for Proof of Income" (viewtopic.php?p=642725#p642725)

Maybe it's an AI that wants to laze about on Universal Credit?
I'd be impressed if it was.
More likely a numpty trying to play humpty dumpty.

If it is taxed as income then I would feel confident about including it in a statement of income.
That said it is a long time since I was ever asked for proof of income. Probably the last time I applied for a mortgage (1991 if memory serves). You get asked to state your income in applications to open bank and credit card accounts, but evidently they just accept whatever you say.

Just think of the amount Donald Trump could have borrowed if he'd known this ......
