Suggestions for xmas puzzles?

I'm looking for something to keep the offspring entertained/challenged next week. Ideally something like a set of linked puzzles, mathematical/logical/cryptic in nature, and may take several hours to solve ie. challenging but not impossible, suitable for GCSE level kids. Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks!

Zendo (using lego) is something that I will be using for the first time.
