What is it with the waiters, waitresses, shop assistants etc of this new generation - who answer "no problem" to everything.

We were in a restaurant yesterday and everything was "no problem"

Would you like a menu? Yes please ! - No problem
Would you like some water? yes please - No problem
I'd like the Lasagne please - No problem
Can we have the bill please - no problem.

Strewth. We're in a damn restaurant and you are being asked to do what you do. How could it have been a problem in the first place? Stop trying to give the illusion that you are some problem solving wizard !! I guess the only thing that could possibly have been more irritating is someone being even more smug and answering "No problemo". That would have been a lasagne over the head moment for me
