Working on Customer Site

Off to work on a customer site in the first week of January (for 1 day for a meeting).

So far, in order to let me into the building, I have been asked to provide

* Every address I've lived at for the last 20 years
* Mother's maiden name
* Driving License Number
* Passport Number
* National identity Number
* Home Phone Number
* Cell Number

My data has been rejected several times as I don't have a national identity number, I've refused to hand over my mother's maiden name and passport. It won't accept my mobile as the format is wrong (i.e. it's a US website and my mobile is in UK format). Nor will it take my driving license. And naturally there is no human being that I can talk to about this.

Oh, and there's a 4 hour online (examined) course on data security.

Merry Christmas

You see? Trump isn't in the White House yet, and the de-globalisation process is already under way. Better shape up, pal.

What's that? You haven't got a National Identification Number? And you spell License with two Cs? Hey, you're not some kind of an immigrant, are you?

Don't worry about the Cell Number. You'll probably have one of those soon enough. :lol:

I'd love to, but that's not an option (apparently)
