Ted,

I have no idea what you mean ;)

K ... full fess up time ... I don't follow any sports. I am, quite ashamed to say, not an armchair sportsman :( .

But ... wait for it please ... I do follow England when the World Cup and Euro is on. Sorry I'm aware of what I've just said. In all fairness if Scotland or Wales are there I do follow them to, especially if England have played like a bunch of (choose your own expletive) .

Given that you've started this thread very late in the day ;) I'm now going to have to do my homework and find out which teams are in the championship. If England aren’t in please don’t tell me. My nerves aren’t up to it just yet

You notice how all the officials, coaches et al, all attend the draw? Why? Not because it's an all expences paid bit of a beano that's for sure.

Still, it's better than a sports day in Paris.

Good luck to Scotland. It's only Germany at home.

As for England they have a decent chance. If the players ignore GS's game tactics.

Semi finals, lose on penalties to an inferior team. Southgate gets knighted for services to football. More years of hurt and dreaming.

Scotland's performance tonight was clearly a tribute to their famous World Cup campaign of 1978, with Germany taking the part of Peru.

Many Englishmen of a certain age who follow football will smile at the mere mention of "Ally's Tartan Army". Scotland have to be grateful that Iran aren't in their group this time...

Scotland's performance tonight was ...

Just another statement that Scotland has no desire to remain in Europe.

Final realisation that whilst migration into Scotland is sought/desired, given choices few would prioritise opting to move/live there.

Cringe time..again. Are you watching England? You are favourites to actually win this competition! Please don't make me suffer on Sunday any more than I need to. I had predicted 4-1 to Germany beforehand, but Scotland's performance was just atrocious.

The Tartan Army's performance of "you're no singing any more" after the goal was the highlight for me

Not sure a German defeat of the minnows in the competition signals very much... but never underestimate England's perennial ability to disappoint in the face of wholly unmerited expectations.

The Scottish fans' mood will be improved by laughing at "favourites" England on Sunday. For now though, I have to say the Scots weren't good enough to be crap.
