UK & Ireland sole bidder for Euro 2028 after Turkey withdraws to focus on Euro 2032
I am, however, expecting a late bid from Qatar to trump everything.

We'll lose the first two games to teams even diddier than us and then in the final do or die group game against all the odds we'll score a historic victory against ze mighty Germans...however a 98th minute controversial goal by their big no.9, Klaus Knockenbucker, will put us out on goal difference.
See if I'm wrong.

Apparently FIFA are considering lifting the blanket ban on Russian teams (all too late as it happens because they've since switched to duvets).
Anyway.....asuming UEFA follows suit might we see a Russian bid for Euro 2028?

And instead of taking 4 weeks it'll drag on for years?
