Looking at the US election face to face.
The current president is clearly toast and has been for a long time.
I would like to know

(i) The fellow is totally toast so who has actually been running the US for the last two years?
(ii) Who is/was responsible for putting the toast up for the live debate? They must have known he would be dreadful.

Lord help us.

(i) The vice-president, one would imagine.

(ii) A perceptive and probably accurate observation. He has been mercilessly stitched up, possibly for the ultimate benefit of us all by someone close who knew something had to be done. No idea who though.

Good you don't live here. God help us all what's coming!! Mind you, in a weeks time, all you luvlies in Blighty will know what's coming. Which is worse?

I imagined the job was to manage the USA, not Gaza and Isreal.
