Today, I received a letter from HSBC regarding a shareholding I have in what was once Hurricane Energy and is now Prax Upstream Limited.

All well and good, but at the top of the letter it has a question stating "When's it has happened?"

Am I going loopy or is that atrocious English?

Anyhow, thanks HSBC for reminding me of an investment that didn't make me money

Is it "English" even ? or just some random assortment of letters?

You can safely assume that its not been penned by an AI bot - they are not that bad.
More likely a real person in a foreign country where the wage rates are a lot lower than in the UK

I might send it back to the Chief Exec to see if he or she can understand it for me!

They just missed out the 'h'
