In the past Dod has dropped out viewtopic.php?p=158005#p158005 due to moderation matters viewtopic.php?p=158067#p158067

Perhaps something he composed and posted was reported/pulled and he might have opted to drop out without the same notice he gave in 2018.

I'd not assumed flounce but the ultimate quit.

I have just used search to check Dod's posts and see that he was in hospital for six weeks at the end of 2023. Sadly that length of stay and his age suggests it was not a minor matter, especially if one reads this post. viewtopic.php?p=635419#p635419 and a few posts around that date.

Given Dod's regularity in posting and his references to his single status, having been a widower twice, I'm afraid that we might not be hearing from him again.

He will be missed.

I so very nearly had a mini social with Dod a couple of years ago but he had a late change of plans and it never happened,

I hope he's ok.
