I had been using an old version the funds scrape spreadsheet to obtain ^FTSE and ^FTAS values together with various ETF values. The underlying macro pointed to the https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/quotes/???? pages. In excel the macro halts at the line:
Set table_data = mtbl.getElementsByTagName("tr")
As the macro stopped working today I then got a copy of the current fund scrape spreadsheet which I notice points to https://markets.ft.com/data/funds/tears ... mary?s=???? . The new fundscrape sheet was able to scrape the ETFs but I could not get it to recover ^FTSE and ^FTAS [e.g. https://markets.ft.com/data/funds/tearsheet/summary?s=^FTAS] I guess that the are held elsewhere. Does anyone if and how it is possible to scrape FTSE and FTAS values please?
Thanks

I just tried the Simple Price Scrape v2.2 and this failed to get prices from Yahoo, so something seems to have changed at the Yahoo end. Don't have time to look at it just now, but I'll have a gander tomorrow
