Delayed share sale

If I was delayed in selling an equity investment because of an admin error by the scheme administrator, and the price of that investment then fell, would I be entitled to any compensation?

I'm actually struggling to complete an ISA transfer. So not quite the same thing, but I'm interested in the general principle of the above question. Thanks.

Probably unlikely unless there was some gross negligence. It's probably covered in the terms somewhere on page 657!

I have a current ISA transfer issue ongoing and was hoping to buy some shares rather than sell. They are in a nice price window but the whole process will be restarting it's third attempt which could take upto another 6 weeks.

I can't see me getting them at the current price so will likely be out of pocket by the time it gets sorted.

Occasionally you get a goodwill payment gesture but even £50 doesn't make up if you end up thousands out of pocket.
